CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
AQUACISE: A total body workout using waters natural
resistance. A great experience for all levels. Swim year around in our covered,
saltwater pool.
AQUAPOWER: This class utilizes specially designed buoyancy and resistance
equipment to tone, strengthen, build endurance, develop coordination and
increase flexibility.
GENTLE YOGA: For students who are new to the practice of yoga or who prefer a slower, more gentle practice. This class is also appropriate for seniors and for students who have physical limitations or injuries.
CORE "n" MORE: Core training provides the body with a working foundation. Strengthening the core muscles assists in injury prevention and helps your body function more efficiently. By adding dumbbells, medicine balls, and elastic resistance to the balance challenges of the stability ball, this "core" specific workout is kicked up a notch to include the core "n" so much more!!!
FEEL GOOD YOGA: A combination of Kundalini, Pilates & Hatha Yoga with
powerful breathing exercises which will expand lung capacity, energize &
oxygenate cell, and strengthen the core.
DYNAMIC FLOW YOGA: A flowing series of postures. each movement synchronized with
the breath. An aerobic, full body workout which builds strength,
flexibility, balance and vitality while detoxifying and relaxing the body and
mind. Vigorous sequences can be expected. Challenging/level 2.
DANCERCISE: Join the fun. An hour packed with great music, awesome moves
and good company.
Dancercise is a high energy, low impact dance inspired cardio class for all
fitness levels.
CLASSIC PILATES: Want a high power Pilates workout - this is the one for you.
BODY SCULPT: Designed to increase tone and shape your body. Excercise bands,
weights, balls and other equipment are utilized to provide full body sculpting.
COMPOUND IT: A circuit type, intense 45 minutes of compound excercizes (two excercises at once) using weights and a step bench. Timing the reps with the beats per minute offers a good cardio workout, building muscles.
STRENGTH & TONE: A total body strength workout that emphasizes proper form and
technique. Dumbbells, steps, medicine balls are used to provide a unique and
challenging session.
SPINNING: Individually paced stationary cycling utilizing the motivation of a
group with focus on both physical and mental training.
VINYASA FLOW YOGA: Designed for beginner and intermediate students, these strength-building classes emphasize warm-ups, breath techniques, and alignment. A great workout that leave you relaxed and energized! These classes are creative and unique and change from class to class.
Policies: Classes are free to members and open to the public with a daily
fitness pass or class pass.
